Absolutely Fabulous Strawberry Cupcakes
When I first baked these little bunch of cuties I was on the hunt to find the best cake
mix and natural flavoring as possible.
I knew from the start they needed to taste like the real thing and not the imitation stuff.
And let me tell you girls that these are the ones I had set out to find. Completely Delicious!
So lets get started shall we?
Strawberry Cupcake Recipe
1/2 cup butter
3 egg whites
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons strawberry extract
"Now comes the delight! Real strawberries!"
1 cup of strawberries pureed, to be exact you should try them! Are they sweet?
1/4 cup sour cream
1 1/2 cups cake flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon smooth salt.
Pink food coloring
1/4 cup butter (softened)
1 8oz cream cheese (softened)
2 teaspoon strawberry extract
6 cups confectioner's sugar (sifted)
LET'S BAKE!
Preheat oven to 350*
Get a large mixing bowl or mixer. start beating sugar and butter at medium speed. Add
egg whites one at a time only please'. Mix those white up really good! each one also..
Now start to stir in the wonderful strawberry extract, berry puree and sour cream.
Ok, so..thats, that... lets move on shall we?
Get a medium mixing bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
{Gradually} add butter into the mixture..beat until smooth as silk!
Lets pour some batter, pour into prepared cupcake pans. Bake for at least 15-20 min
or until a wooden toothpick pokes out clean.
when done let keewwl... (cool!) about 10min. then remove from pan to a cooling rack.
Frost when they are completely chilllaxed with no heat.
FROSTING TIME!
Grab another bowl (Large) start beating butter and cream cheese together with an electric
mixer. (Medium Speed Please!) Once smooth lets move on....
Add food coloring lightly, otherwise you will have very pink ladies. Your Desired color.
Gradually beat in the confectioner's sugar until sexy smooth.
Frost with your favorite nib and enjoy! You can also add candy pearls for decor.
