Texas Chocolate Cakes with Pecans
Delicious Texas Chocolate sheet cake! Fun easy and very quick to make. This cake is basically a chocolate Texas sheet cake modified with some extra decoration to make it a little more festive for Holidays and special occasions. This desserts starts with my World famous graveyard cake recipe with newly added graveyard cupcakes. Follow our recipe and fun decorating supplies for making these chocolate dessert.
Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 cubes butter
- 1 cup water
- 6 tbsp cocoa
- 1/2 to 1 cup sour cream
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Instructions
- Use a large bowl to mix sugar, flour, and salt. Next in a saucepan bring butter, water, and cocoa to a boil. Take off from heat and add it immediately to the dry ingredients. Place sour cream, eggs, baking soda with vanilla together keep stirring. Grab a greased 9 x13 baking pan to combine the ingredients smoothly. Preheat oven to 375* degree for 20 to 25 minutes. Keep an eye on cake to make sure everything bakes evenly. A helpful tip is to rotating the pan after 10 to 15 min to help out. Use a toothpick to test!
